Second Round Playoffs Underway

With the 1st round of the playoff in the books, we look to the league leaders and decipher which teams likely have the best odds of a conference round birth. Starting with the Winnipeg vs Dallas series, I personally lean on the side of the jets. If Hellebuyck can return to regular season form I think Winnipeg should be able to down Dallas in a long 7 game series.
Edmonton and Vegas is a matchup we have seen before. On paper, Vegas is the much better team. However, the first round saw Edmonton playing hockey like their actual lives depended on it. I still think Vegas is the better team, but the hot hand always makes things interesting. Sneaky upset pick here... give me Edmonton in 6.
Moving to the Eastern side, we have Toronto v Florida, a rematch from last year. Florida dispatched a real contender in Tampa Bay and Toronto has a history of playoff struggles. I think the moment proves to be too big for Toronto again and Florida wins in 5 or 6.
Lastly, we have Washington and Carolina, this series is interesting because of a late year hit about 2 months ago that Jalen Chatfield layed on Connor McMichael. There is going to be some bad blood in this series, and I am all for it, Carolina has a lot of playoff experience and at the end of the day I think experience gets it done.
